The Dashboard

The Plastic Free Communities Network is growing! So, to make it easier to achieve Plastic Free Champion status you can now get online access to everything you’ll need to make lasting, positive changes in your community.

Once you’ve signed up and logged in you can access exclusive resources, keep track of your progress and provide evidence to apply for Plastic Free Business Champion status.

Your progress

Once logged in you will be able to see your business name.

You will also see your progress bar. This will indicate how you are getting on with your award.. At 100% you will be ready to submit for approval, and we will review your dashboard and let you know if you have been awarded the Plastic Free Business Champions award.

Notifications

These notifications appear at key points in your Plastic Free Communities journey, such as your first login and as you progress through the plan.

You will be able to close most of these once you’re happy with them … but some ‘Alerts’ will need you to take action before they disappear.

Tasks

This is where all the magic happens! Upload the details of the first 3 single use plastic items that you are tackling as a businesses, and don’t forget to include some evidence too. This can be screenshots, an explainer document, or pictures of your new plastic free choices.

There’s the option to add additional items too, the more info you submit to us the better be can monitor the impact that your business is having on plastic reduction locally. So if you’re tackling more than 3 items then let us know.

If you’re already plastic free then you can fill these in retrospectively, by letting us know the choices that you have already made to reduce single use plastic in your business.

Achieving Plastic Free Champion Status

Once all your tasks are complete and approved we can officially award your business Plastic Free Champion status! You will receive an email with the digital Business Champion stamp, and you’re certificate and wooden plaque will arrive shortly afterwards in the post.

NB// If you are part of a Plastic Free Community then we will post your award to your Community Lead and they will drop it round.
