Business Champions
Get local businesses to remove at least three single-use plastic items, and give them our Plastic Free Champion awards.
Why?
It’s a lot easier to avoid single-use plastic if it’s not an option. By convincing businesses to remove them and promote refill and reuse schemes to customers, we can start to solve the problem at source.
How?
Pop in, build relationships and inspire your local high street businesses to join the movement:
- The number of businesses that you’ll work with is based on the population size of your community.
- When you sign up, you’ll get a Business Guide and resources to help you.
- Visit the businesses in person, build connections and celebrate what they already do.
- Encourage them to sign up to become a Plastic Free Champion.
- Help them apply for their awards. And encourage them to display their Plastic Free plaque so others can see the campaign and join in.
